Ajax the great

The alien threat is getting closer to the Human Sphere and, to defeat it, action must be taken quickly. That is why the A.I. Aleph created the sectorial army of the Mirmidons, great soldiers full of strength and passion. Among them stands out Ajax The Great, a character created by Aleph and inspired by Achilles.

This miniature was painted some time ago, started during a workshop and finished later some time after. I entered to Leganes contest in 2020 (last time I entered to a contest) and won silver at master fantasy painting. For some reason It was not posted yet.

It's a 90mm miniature from Luxumbra's range (based on Infinity the game). I remember it was a pleasure to paint and one of my fauvorite paintings last years. Hope you like it too.

90mm Alatriste

ENGLISH

As I told you yesterday, last week I finished the 90mm Alatriste. I could take some final pics and I get the approved marc from the customer that is very happy with it.

Miniature wasn't easy. Model itself could be better and some wrinkles hadn't any sense so it needed los of sanding and sculpting work preparing the figurine. I shaped almost al wrinkles in trouserd directly over metal with my rotatory tool and some fo them needed material (stuff) to sculp them from nothing.
It was 2 complete days just preparing (16 working hours, but it deserved making a much more solid model, even if i'm not completely happy with the coat).

Painting work itself wasn't so hard, but it was slow as fiogurine have lot of leather textures. Worst part was to build the coat as it was impossible to paint below it, so It must be glued and pinned painted.

And must say that customer doesn't want a scenic base.

SS Totenkopf; Pegaso 90mm

Recently I finished my first 90mm miniature. It's a model i wanted to paint since some time ago but i never had enought time. Alex varela (Iguazzu) was so kindly to give me as a gift so i couldn't let it be parked much more time.

Even the miniature was a little complicated at first ( it's not easy to handel a big plumb model like this) I think at the end it reached a good level.

Hope you like it.
